World Associates Acquires Land For A Sustainable Community

May 10, 2006: World Associates, Inc. (“World”,
OTC: WAIV) announced today that it has completed its purchase of a property
located 90 miles north of Santa Fe, New Mexico in the Chama Valley near the Colorado
border. The land will be developed into a sustainable community named Yellow
Hills Ranch.
Yellow Hills Ranch covers approximately
7.3 square miles and the Company has a contract to purchase an adjacent property
covering 14 square miles. The land
has both open pasture and forested hills with an average altitude of 7200 feet. It
is home to a varied wildlife population that includes elk, mountain lions, mule deer,
bears, bald eagles and more. The Chama River, designated as a Wild and Scenic
River, flows through El Vado State Park which is directly across the street. The
area is known for world-class fly-fishing, white water rafting and other year-round
activities.
Preliminary plans call for a common
open space and wildlife preserve for the use of all homeowners. Homes will be located in the forested land on ranch properties
of various sizes. The property will retain its rural character in keeping with
the surrounding area.
The Company intends to employ sustainable
practices and technologies in the areas of land use, agriculture, energy and resource
development as part of its approach to developing the property. Emphasizing sustainable practices is expected to
provide significant benefits that include natural resource conservation, energy efficiency,
healthier living environments, and ecologically and culturally sensitive land use. The
goal is to incorporate these principles from the outset, enabling the community to
become increasingly independent with the ability to provide for its needs using local
resources.
